I Met Lee Dodd!
July 18th, 2006Life is weird sometimes.
A year ago I was daily looking for work on SitePoint in the ‘Looking to Hire’ section and also entering contests when I could find the time.
It all started when I sent a user a PM (private message) about his need for a coder/designer and that person was none other than the famous/infamous Lee Dodd!
After of working together for almost a year now on a bunch of his sites and also sites that we own together, I am happy to say that I was finally able to meet Lee and his lovely family in Orlando this past week.
It was so nice to be able to sit down with Lee and brainstorm some old and new ideas and talk about where the future might take him (and us!).
I count it a real privilege to work with and for Lee - cheers to you Lee!

So what can I tell you about Lee that you may not have known?
1) Lee is a tall guy - probably 6″5′ or so
2) One of Lee’s favorite movies is National Lampoon’s Loaded Weapon
3) Lee (and his family) have pet cows - luckily they don’t live inside the house
4) Lee loves salsa
5) Lee wears Vans tennis shoes
Acutally, Lee is a guy that is probably just like most of us, he works hard, enjoys what he does and wants to be successful.

Wow, thats pretty cool. Just goes to show how unpredictable life is.
The other day I was talking to my mom about two completely unrelated people that we hadn’t seen in a long time, and we saw them both (at different times) in the same day!
