Take Time Off

I hope you do.
For most people, especially those like you and me who are into making money online, taking time off is a difficult thing to do on a regular basis.
I work a full time job as a web/software developer so that takes up 40 hours a week of my time.
I also have a family that I love to spend time with as well.
I like to sleep as well - 8 hours a night if possible.
So when am I supposed to do all this extra work to grow my income, my sites, network with fellow webmasters/developers, read all the blogs and sites that I want to read, etc.?
I usually try to start working on my personal sites by 8pm every night and then work until at least 11pm each night. Some nights when I ‘get in the groove’ I will stay up until 2am or 3am depening on what I am working on. I tend to do this type of schedule where I stay up late 2 nights in a row and then be in bed by 11pm on the third night as a way to recover. Then repeat if necessary depending on what I have going on and what I am trying to accomplish on my sites.
I have also found that taking one day where I do not turn on the computer unitl 7pm - usually Saturdays for me - is good to get my mind away from work-related things for just a while.
Tomorrow, I am going out of town without my laptop for a day and half. I am excited that I will be cut off for that time as I know that my createive juices will be flowing on Sunday when I get home and I am sure that I will be super productive on Sunday when I do sit down to work.
