Well, it has been an interesting couple of weeks since I last posted after my return from the Photoshop World conference.
I spent most of September preparing a new site for launch, http://www.ministrysource.com. That site launched the first week of October and has been doing well.
BuildingOurNewHome.com is coming along nicely as well - I have done very little promotion and the site is making some decent money that I am happy with.
I have signed two new web site development contracts in the last 2 weeks as well which will bring in some good income that I want to put back into purchasing sites.
I have also been working on getting Mopacity.com ready for sale again - adding some new content and seeing that income improve is nice.
All in all, the last few weeks have been crazy, but crazy good for sure.
It makes me excited to see what the last part of 2006 has in store.

I finally have some good content up on my newest site - BuildingOurNewHome.com - which is basically my site detailling my new home as it is being built.
Although I am at the beginning stages - just starting the foundation - that will surely pick up as we start to pick out furnishing and details for the home.
If you have anyone else that you know of that is building a new home and would like to blog about their experiences (and show off pictures to family and friends), have them contact me a mike@michaelbunton.com.

I got back last night from Las Vegas and the Photoshop World conference that I attended while I was there.
I must say that I am a little overwhelmed with information so I am going to write reports over the next week or so about what I learned while at the conference.
If you are at all involved in print, design or photography, then this conference is for you! If you are just a web designer that dabbles in design (like me) then you might want to think twice about attending. I was disappointed in the class offerings as far as applying design to the web, but I went in wanting to learn more about design, type and motion graphics and that is exactly what I got.
Here is a list of classes that I attended:
The Art of Photoshop
Photoshop Finishing Touches
Empower Your Creative Discoveries
The Art of Typography
How’d They Do That?
Designing With Type
Power Hour for Graphic Designers
Illuminating Creativity
The Art of the Blend
The Pen Tool
I must say that the best teacher by far was Scott Kelby who taught the classes on Typography and Designing with Type.
Overall, the information provided was excellent and I feel better prepared to move my career forward as a designer.
I hope you will check back over the next few days to catch updates on many of the classes.
Keep learning!
